Is this a death sentence for me?

I've been glued to the news for the last few hours. There is a lot going on today. One program had a panel of doctors discussing the new law. A urologist made the point that the primary test for prostrate cancer (PSA) is not covered.  His comment was that a urologist was not on the panel that established the guidelines.

Why does this concern me? I have End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). I am on dialysis multiple times a week.  Without dialysis I will die.  This is an expensive process. I am over 65 as well. Will some non-medical panel decide that it is too expensive to keep me alive and recommend me for end of life counseling?

Kaiser announced a rate increase a few minutes ago. No one knows what will happen.

Just curious

  1. I'm so sorry this is happening to you Howie! It just makes me so sad, that our government is trying to "weed out" our seniors. Hopefully, Obamacareless will be repealed! Hugs!

    1. I really appreciate that. Please contact your congressman and tell him to fight taking 500 Billion dollars from medicare.

      Thanks

  2. Howard, in answer to your question, I have the answer...NO! I'm not trying to be flippant nor am I disregarding what is a concern in your nation. But I am saying, God is greater than any government decision. And because He loves you He sets you free. May the glorious Gospel be bigger than your current (or any past) experiences. I have prayed for you and will continue to do so. And for your nation. Your concerns are on the heart of God already.
Be blessed, head to toe in Jesus Name.
